    Description

    Job Title: Facilities Team Leader

    Welltower, a leading company with residential and medical office portfolios, is seeking a dynamic individual with mechanical and analytical skills to lead the facilities team. This team will focus on property systems and energy savings initiatives under the guidance of the Vice President of Facilities.     Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate property systems and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Develop energy-efficient specifications for property systems.
  • Contribute to resource management plans to reduce consumption.
  • Identify and propose resource-saving initiatives.
  • Provide guidance during emergency situations.
  • Ensure assets are maintained to company and safety standards.
  • Collaborate on long-term capital plans.
  • Oversee capital work adherence to standards.
  • Assist in strategic capital spend initiatives.
  • Perform assigned duties effectively.

    • Additional Responsibilities:

    This role may involve additional duties not listed here, and responsibilities may evolve over time.

    Travel:

    Travel will be required to various locations to ensure project success.

    Compensation:

    Salary ranges from $105,000 to $125,000, with added bonus and car allowance. Salaries are determined based on market factors and candidate qualifications.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, engineering background advantageous
  • 6+ years experience in construction, maintenance, or facilities management
  • Ability to analyze financial returns of initiatives
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in software tracking tools
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset
