The E Log Compliance Assistant role provides support on safety related compliance matters pertaining to driver Electronic Logs.

The position requires the managing of E Logs and other related compliance matters as dictated either by Federal Regulations or Heniff policy.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the auditing of driver's E Logs, looking for violations of Federal Regulations and Heniff company policy to ensure compliance
  • Work with terminals and to obtain copies of all roadside inspections and violations to ensure all noted deficiencies have been corrected and report sent back to the issuing state and maintained on file as required by regulation
  • Obtain and review SDS's as required to create new commodity codes when requested
  • Be responsible for creating new driver profiles in People Net mobile communications system
  • Learn and become skilled in the troubleshooting of People Net operational issues encountered by drivers. Working with both drivers and People Net support to see matters through resolution
  • Auditing of Speed Gauge violations assigned to drivers and working with terminals to ensure compliance with Heniff policy on following speed limit laws and Heniff policy on maximum safe speed
  • Administer and track monthly required continuous online training lessons assigned to drivers and other users

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one year in transportation related experience

Work Environment:


  • The position typically operates 5 days per week in a standard office environment.
