Your tasks

  • Your task will consist of analyzing, preparing and transferring large amounts of data into PDM/PLM systems
  • You will perform the data transfer in a team and in close coordination with the relevant departments

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, mechanical engineering or have a comparable qualification
  • You have a good understanding of quantities and orders of magnitude, and are familiar with the basics of algebra, logic, and set theory
  • You have initial knowledge of objects (parts, assemblies, products and product structures), document types (models, drawings, standards, bills of materials, etc.) as well as processes and their phases and milestones (requirements, testing, approval, etc.) in product development
  • You have some programming experience, preferably in scripting languages such as Python, and are familiar with fundamental data structures such as strings, lists, mappings (dictionaries), stacks, queues, and trees, as well as the essential algorithms that operate on them. You also have knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably Oracle
  • You have some experience working with file systems and text data: you know what regular expressions, CSV files, XML, Unicode, different character sets, and encodings mean. You also have experience with DOS shell, UNIX/Linux, and a corresponding shell
