- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Cultivate relationships with donors and stakeholders to build a strong network of support.
- Identify new funding opportunities and diversify revenue streams to sustain organizational growth.
- Community Engagement and Partnerships:
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advance the organization's mission.
- Represent the organization in public forums and engage with the community to raise awareness and support for our work.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to address community needs and drive positive change.
- Board Relations and Governance:
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide regular updates, solicit input, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Support the Board in its governance responsibilities, including board development, committee engagement, and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, including at least 7 years in an executive management role.
- Demonstrated track record of success in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Los Angeles nonprofit landscape and experience working with local communities.
