_About the position_:

    _Facilities Manager __to join the team. As a seasoned facilities professional, your primary responsibility is to orchestrate and oversee a comprehensive range of strategic and tactical activities, spanning facility and equipment maintenance, vehicle fleet management, shipping and receiving, procurement, vendor management, and overall operational support. You will lead and execute advancedlevel facilityrelated functions while ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency within the Operations Department. By leveraging your expertise and proactive approach, you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and cultivate strong partnerships both internally and externally, positioning our organization for sustained growth and operational excellence._

_Essential duties and responsibilities_
- _

Strategic Facilities Management:
Spearhead the comprehensive management and oversight of facilities across multiple locations, including Austin, Fort Worth, and Mobile Units. Ensure that all facilities are meticulously maintained and operate efficiently.

Coordinate regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, internet connectivity, janitorial services, and security measures.

Proactively prepare facilities for changing weather conditions, manage landscape maintenance, and implement security protocols to safeguard assets and personnel._
- _ Space Optimization and Utilization: Lead space planning initiatives to optimize facility layout and usage, fostering environments that support employees, accredited businesses, and the broader business and consumer community. Continuously assess and adapt space allocations to accommodate evolving needs and maximize operational efficiency._
- _ Vendor Management and

Project Oversight:

Manage relationships with contracted vendors to ensure the seamless provision of facility-related services, including janitorial, construction, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.

Oversee projects for plant restoration or modification, as well as space planning and occupancy optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, goals, and standards.

Cleanliness Compliance:

Maintain rigorous standards for safety and cleanliness across interior and exterior areas, including offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces.

Collaborate with security system vendors to implement and maintain robust security features and systems, ensuring a safe and secure workplace environment for all personnel.

Vehicle Fleet Management:
Assume responsibility for overseeing the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring proper maintenance, repair, and inspection protocols are followed. Manage vehicle insurance, wraps, and paint to maintain a professional and cohesive fleet appearance. Develop and maintain a vehicle fleet tracker, monitoring maintenance schedules and insurance coverage. Support the development of vehicle policies and ensure staff compliance by facilitating annual vehicle agreements._

- _ Completes facility inspections and tracks equipment to ensure items are maintained._
