Description

• Understanding of aims and objectives of camp
• Ability to work with children to grow in character, experiences, and insights
• Knowledge of camp program and planning

• Guard the health and well being of campers at all times
• At least 21+ years old / college experience preferred
• Experience with working with children in resume
• Ability to work out doors comfortably
• Be enthusiastic & dependable

• Work with up to 10 campers
• Work with all other staff in a supportive manner

• Evaluate information on campers assigned to you
• Greet campers and families upon arrival and orientate them to camp
• Establish with campers jobs, rules, and emergency procedures
• Plan activities with directors
• Organize and accompany campers daily
• Participate in all camp functions
• Teach classes in specialty area
• Organize one all camp, program or special event
• Attend precamp and ongoing staff meetings and trainings
• Report any suspicion of child abuse to your camp director and discuss it with no one else
• Help out where needed in any area of camp to contribute to the successful operation of camp

• Monday to Friday

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Driver's License (required)
