- $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 Annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conceptualize and develop seasonal collections for toddler/baby clothing and accessories, including but not limited to tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, footwear, and accessories.
Stay updated on current fashion trends, color palettes, and fabrications relevant to the toddler/baby market.
Create mood boards, sketches, and design prototypes to present ideas effectively.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs align with brand aesthetic, target market, and product requirements.
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each design.
Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to oversee the product development process from concept to production.
Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Attend trade shows, fashion events, and industry meetings to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies.
Maintain organized design files, including sketches, technical drawings, and sample swatches.
Communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Proven experience
5 Years+ experience as a designer, with a focus on children's apparel preferred.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative designs for kids' clothing and accessories.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of têxtiles, color theory, and print/pattern development.
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Passion for children's fashion and a genuine interest in understanding the needs and preferences of young consumers.
