    Job Title: Mental Health Therapist/Clinician

    Company: Excellent Healthcare Services



    Overview: Excellent Healthcare Services is a behavioral health agency located in the West Baltimore area, currently in the process of expanding its services. The company is seeking an experienced clinician to join its team and provide mental health therapy.



    Position Purpose/Summary: The primary role of the mental health therapist/clinician is to conduct diagnostic interviews, evaluate patients referred for various mental health issues, and provide diagnoses and treatment recommendations. This position requires strong organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with clients and accurately document treatment encounters.



    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure the delivery of client-centered services to all clients.
    • Deliver excellent client service to excellent healthcare stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve the behavioral health treatment processes and operations at Excellent Healthcare.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psycho-social assessments and make treatment recommendations.
    • Set treatment objectives, develop plans, and provide individual or group therapy.
    • Collaborate with family, community, and external health agencies for patient care coordination.
    • Maintain patient records and make arrangements for inpatient care when necessary.
    • Provide supervision to team members and ensure clinical oversight.
    • Foster a staff culture aligned with Excellent Healthcare's values.
    • Comply with all policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
    • Participate in scheduled clinical supervision meetings and staff meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Other responsibilities:

    • Compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Promotion of diversity and equality policies.
    • Maintain confidentiality and follow protocols for communication use.
    • Adhere to risk management principles.

    Job Requirement:



    Education: Minimum of a master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or related field.

    Special Requirement: Candidates must hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor.

    Experience: Minimum of one year of professional experience in mental health services.
