Key-User (m/f/d) The Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) is the real estate service provider of the federal government, supporting the government's real estate policy goals and providing the necessary spaces and buildings for almost all federal authorities.

Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very diverse and colorful real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and maintenance of federal natural areas.

The spectrum ranges from residential, industrial and commercial properties to military and former military areas, as well as forestry and agricultural areas.

Since September 1, 2020, the BImA has taken over the management and development of its approximately 40,000 apartments through its own division, Wohnen.

The division is responsible for managing strategically important scattered properties as well as large residential neighborhoods in established urban areas.

With the Wohnen division, we are committed to providing affordable and suitable housing for federal employees, especially in tight housing markets in economically strong regions and major cities.

In addition to the current focus on modernization and maintenance, the Wohnen division is also dedicated to sustainable neighborhood development and has a strong focus on demographic change, digitization, and climate change.

The division is organized into four regional areas, eight customer centers, and 28 service teams.
