    Description

    Summary About the Position:
    This position is with the Office Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM-SANG).

    Duty location is Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, please visit:
    Responsibilities Responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and overall administration of a myriad of management, analysis and advisory functions in support of OPM-SANG ground systems programs and missions. Utilizes regulations for all aspects of the ground system acquisition program to conduct studies, analyze findings, and make recommendations related to accomplishment of complex FMS program. Brief high-level management on technical studies and new technology to resolve and/or advert current, short-, and long-term problems. Provides leadership with objectively based information for making decisions on administrative, accounting, budget planning, manpower utilization and programmatic aspects of directorate operations and management. Serves as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor to OPM-SANG management on FMS program cost analysis. Studies and analyzes higher headquarters concepts, studies, forecasts, plans, and objectives to assess the impact on OPM-SANG long and short range goals, objectives, and strategic management planning.

    Specialize Experience:
    One year which includes: 1) Planning, directing, implementing, and overall administration of organizational ground systems programs and missions and 2) Utilizing regulation/policy for all aspects of the ground system acquisition program to conduct studies, analyze findings, and make recommendations related to accomplishment of complex Foreign Military Sales programs.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

    Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.

    This is a Career Program (CP) 26 position. Salary includes applicable locality pay. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP).

    To receive selection priority for this position, you must:
