As a member of the Process and Technology Transformation Team within the Controller's Organization, you will help drive transformation projects that revolutionize accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis practices.

What You Will Do

  • Drive innovation that enables the organization to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends
  • Leverage the scientific method to design and conduct experiments, including proof of concepts, to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of new technologies for the controller organization
  • Analyze existing accounting processes to identify manual and repetitive tasks prone to errors or inefficiencies.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using technology, data integration tools, and scripting languages to eliminate manual processes and optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to understand process requirements, gather data, and integrate systems for seamless automation.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize automated processes, identifying opportunities for further improvement and possible process waste elimination
  • Document automation workflows, including process maps, specifications, and user guides, to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base
  • Provide training and support to endusers on utilizing automated tools and systems effectively.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and optimizing processes
  • Proficient in programming languages; Python, R, SQL or similar
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies; Robotic Process Automation platforms and data integration tools
  • Familiarity with accounting tools and ERP systems; SAP S4 HANA, M3, or similar
  • Experience with the Scientific Method and designing experiments
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Hands on experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum Team
  • Business process mapping experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
