NSF 49 Certified or ISO 17025 Calibration experience a plus.


Some travel required.

Purpose:
A strong emphasis is placed on customer service, asset utilization, and helping our customers enhance scientific innovation. Certify BSC's, HEPAs, Flow Hoods, etc...


Position Responsibilities:
Certify Hepa filtered lab equipment. The Technician will work closely with the customer to troubleshoot and identify problems in systems and equipment. The Technician must demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-craft atmosphere.


Machines/Equipment Used:

NIST Traceable standards to calibrate unit assorted hand tools, and personal computer to include advanced computer database management and word processing.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists the Biosafety Officer in overall Service.
Internal contacts include facilities management and staff, design, and construction management. Outside contacts include equipment vendors.
Assists with biosafety-related matters as stipulated by the customer.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Bio-Tech Lab Services.


Other Requirements and Responsibilities:

Must have good people skills to interact and communicate effectively to internal, external customers, share knowledge of job including process and scheduler planner.

Familiarity with standard bookkeeping procedures, computer word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs.


Competencies:


Must be NSF 49 certified
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially using formulas in Excel databases, tracking parameters.
Meticulous attention to details, especially in record keeping for regulatory compliance.


Job Types:

Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
