Job Description

We are a family owned business in the auto industry selling car lifts and auto equipment to businesses and consumers. We are looking for an experienced warehouse associate for our Sarasota, FL location.

Responsibilities Include :

Coordinate all deliveries and shipments into and out of the warehouse. Including working with distributors and freight companies as needed.
Unload shipping containers utilizing forklift.
Stage equipment for installers or customers to pickup.
Keep warehouse organized and clean.
Ensure that all items received into warehouse are accurately accounted for and that no materials with damage are accepted.
Ensure all deliveries and shipments are 100% accurate to invoice.
Conduct inventory reconciliation as required ensuring accurate counts of all inventory items. This includes cycle counts, monthly & quarterly inventories.
Assist in identifying root cause of inventory discrepancies and work with individuals or departments to prevent future variations.
Process damaged and returned items.
Occasionally assist on equipment installs as needed (light travel possible)
Occasionally accept walk-in customers to show them our products
Use of CRM software to record serial numbers, dates, pictures, etc.

Qualifications:

Forklift certified
Clean driving record
Excellent organizational skills
Self-starting and able to work effectively with little supervision

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Warehouse supervisory experience preferred
