Description

The Graphic Design and Visual Communication program at HMKW in Hartsville offers a comprehensive and challenging education in all aspects of visual communication.

You will learn the theoretical and practical foundations for designing both print and digital media.

You will be introduced to typography, logo design, corporate design, poster design, photography, film, motion design, editorial design, graphic design for spatial and web applications.

This will prepare you to start your career as a freelancer or junior designer in a design studio, advertising agency, or marketing department.

As part of the dual Bachelor's program in Graphic Design and Visual Communication at HMKW University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication, and Business, students receive a dual qualification and work in a partner company from the first semester onwards.

This is a full-time, dual-practice integrated program, where students work full-time in the partner company during the semester breaks.
