- Design, develop, and implement successful processes. Monitor daily production outcomes. Provide technical direction and coordination to fellow engineers, maintain close communication with company engineers and production staff, review and assess technical work, and integrate findings into cohesive outcomes.
- Collaborate on engineering proposals, goal setting, findings development, conclusion drawing, and recommendation making. Prepare engineering reports and share technical expertise with company personnel when requested.
- Oversee substantial portions of major projects, develop process and economic estimates, and contribute innovative ideas for improvement and cost-effectiveness. Recognized as a subject matter expert in various unit operations.
- Accountable for achieving goals within set timeframes and budget constraints, bearing the process responsibility for significant project segments.
- Apply standard engineering theories, concepts, and methodologies. Tackle a wide range of troubleshooting challenges, leverage creative problem-solving skills, maintain cutting-edge technical knowledge, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process enhancements.
- Coordinate team efforts, resolve priority conflicts, offer technical guidance and supervision, mentor junior engineers, engage with professionals across different functions, uphold organizational values, and interact with external parties as needed.
- Report to the Technical Manager, exhibit autonomy in work planning, accept informal requests for assistance, pursue innovative activities, identify improvement opportunities, and drive project development.
- BSc in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of ten years' engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic chemical unit operations and Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Process Engineer role involves providing technical expertise to ensure operational efficiency in meeting quality, cost, and efficiency targets. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and driving continuous process improvements to achieve business objectives, while also offering technical guidance to plant operations teams for process optimization and issue resolution.
