Requirements:


Job Summary:

Responsible for purchasing activities required to procure materials and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the manufacturing facility.


Essential Job Duties:


  • Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
  • Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and costefficiency.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders.
  • Maintaining records of all purchasingrelated transactions.
  • Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries to support production schedules.
  • Building and maintaining positive, longterm supplier relations.
  • Work with Accounts Payable Department on resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions for products used by ASC.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by Purchasing and Procurement Manager.

Benefits & Compensation:


  • Starting pay rate $27.00 per hour.
  • Health benefits, 401k and Paid Holidays.

All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork.

Required Skills:


  • Minimum of AS Degree in Business or related field.
  • MRP experience a plus. Knowledge of Infor Manufacturing systems a plus.
  • At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency required.
