Located in the prime location of Westerland, the public café/bistro and evening restaurant "Hummerkoje" with upscale and creative cuisine (lobster/steak/pan-Asia) can be found in the Lifestyle Boutique I love Sylt Hotel Terminus.

Our connection to the immediate Sylt neighborhood runs like a red thread through our menu.

Our kitchen team combines regional products with international trends, creating unique flavor experiences that not only please the palate, but also soothe the soul.

To support our kitchen team, the restaurant Hummerkoje is currently looking for a head chef (m/f/d).


Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the culinary offerings in our small but fine kitchen. You create menus and dishes in consultation with the restaurant manager that will delight our guests. You lead and train a junior chef and ensure a smooth operation in the kitchen. You work closely with the service team to provide a well-rounded culinary experience for our guests.


Your profile:
You have completed a professional training as a cook and have relevant experience. You have a strong sense for regional cuisine and Sylt products. You are a team player and have strong leadership skills. You are flexible and able to keep a cool head even on busy days.
