Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs.

We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

What you'll achieve
You will be responsible for working in an environment that's as complex as it is critical.

We use our in-depth knowledge and experience to develop strategic relationships with external suppliers as well as with key internal stakeholders.

Our role also includes contract negotiations, managing risk, driving proper buffer strategies and implementing strategic sourcing best practices.


You will:


  • Work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiencies in our global operations, ensure customer demand is met, and identify and drive strategic initiatives to benefit our business
  • Manage "New Product Introduction" (NPI), Sustaining, and "End Of Life" (EOL) phases of the product lifecycle
  • Track Dell and Supplier inventory to ensure metrics are being properly set and met on a quarterly basis
  • Help to shape the future of the Networking business in an everevolving macrolandscape

Here's what we are looking for with this role:


Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant supply chain and/or equivalent experience
  • Project Management skillset to propose and coordinate key strategic initiatives
  • Ability to analyze Shortage & Excess risks within our supply chain out two years in advance
  • Identify and support mitigation efforts on industryconstrained components impacting platform ownership

Desirable Requirements

  • Supply Chain Certification or Academic Focus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives
