Network engineer for WAN/LAN/WLAN configuration - Watertown, United States - Emerald Technologies
Description
What can you expect?
- You will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and rolling out large networks in the areas of (SD-)WAN / LAN / WLAN, including the use of related tools
- You will plan, prepare, execute, and manage changes/migrations independently
- You will support transition projects
- You will create planning and documentation materials
- You will track and document project progress
- You will monitor compliance with guidelines and standards of our clients, as well as project budgets and timelines, and work with and within our internal network team
What should you bring?
- You have successfully completed a specialized vocational training or a degree in (business) informatics with relevant, several years of professional experience
- You have good general knowledge in the field of IT infrastructure and several years of professional experience in the network area (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IP addresses, etc.), especially in (SD-)WAN/LAN/WLAN
- You have several years of professional experience in handling (Cisco, HP) network environments and related tools
- You have basic knowledge in project management or practical experience in assuming coordinating functions and are proficient in using MS Office products (Excel, Word)
