    Responsibilities Provide recommendations for course design and development to include interface design, course architecture and navigation, content arrangement, sequencing of lessons, and alignment of assessments.

    Assist instructors with accessibility ratings of online course content in accordance with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the latest Quality Matters (QM) Higher Ed.

    Course Design Rubric.
    Provide assistance with essential course design traits to meet online course Quality Standards. Guide participating instructors through the Quality Matters (QM) certification process. Identify instructional design needs and provide solutions that integrate learning theory, best practices, and appropriate technology. Offer course design and technical assistance with the goal of meeting QM standards. Provide training for instructors and staff on Instructional Design and Instructional Technologies.

    Train online instructors on various aspects of the Quality Matters rubric, course templates and design, accessibility standards, engagement tools, assessment rubrics, and Canvas course site settings and navigation.

    Qualifications Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education or other appropriate degree; or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education or other appropriate degree and 2 years of experience.

    (Able to apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create measurable objectives, assess appropriate course materials, design appropriate activities and assessments, and promote engagement in online course sites.
    Knowledgeable in instructional systems and best practices for quality online course delivery.
    Proficient in using multimedia and instructional course software.
