At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at the Euskirchen location. As part of a qualification, you will initially start as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology. You will go through several development steps with us until you reach the target position of Signal Mechanic.
Your tasks:
  • You are responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of a variety of systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
  • The focus of your work is on electronic components such as signals, switches and signal boxes, but you will also learn about mechanical components
  • You will usually carry out tasks in your regional area as part of a team, independently and reliably
  • You will maintain electrical indoor and outdoor systems, but your main work will be outdoors
  • In addition, your tasks will include troubleshooting and creating and forwarding fault reports
