Currently hiring for a Superintendent for heavy civil projects in the greater Colorado Springs area Client DetailsEstablished Civil Construction company. Reputable, well known Heavy Civil contractors in Colorado.
This firm offers people quick career growth, excellent work life balance, and the ability to work on prominent civil construction projects.
The company has grown in volume of projects delivered over the past years as well as project types and scopes of work; they specialize in underground utilities, mining, asphalt, paving, grading, concrete and earthwork.
Review and understand proposals, estimates, plans, specifications and related documents, analyzing labor, material, equipment and time requirements.Understand construction drawings, specifications, permits and layouts.
Collaborate and coordinate with Estimators, Project Manager, and upper management personnel on project management.
Complete accountability for onsite operations of specific construction projects from the start of Construction Phase to the Construction Phase through to the Project Close out Phase.
Manage multiple subcontractors quality of work and their time schedules.Maintain continual communications with Customer, suppliers and subcontractors.
Must understand OSHA requirements in the construction industry.
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
May be required to support the Pre-Construction group to estimate or develop work plans.
The Project Superintendent - Civil Construction - should have:
~5+ Years of Experience in Heavy Civil Construction Markets - underground utilities, mining, asphalt, paving, grading, concrete and earthwork.
~ Proficient in a variety of construction software's
~ holidays
~ Medical (Health/dental/vision) insurance Benefits
~Car allowance/company vehicle
~ cell phone and laptop provided
