A national financial institution that has been in business since 1980 with over 740 branches across 17 states is looking to grow their team and bring on a Network Engineer III on a full time basis.

As a Network Engineer III in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, installation, configuration, break-fix support, design, and daily operation of all aspects of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure. In addition, they are ideally looking for candidates having experience with Cisco VXLAN and Cisco Nexus Dashboard. They would also prefer candidates with CCNP or CCDP or the willingness to obtain one within a 2 year period. As well as excellent Customer Service experience.

This will be a full-time direct hire position with hybrid needs of 2-3 days onsite in their office in The Woodlands, TX. Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the network/communications field
• LAN/WAN
• Cisco VXLAN
• Cisco Nexus Dashboard
• CCNP or CCDP or willingness to obtain one within a 2 year period
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills

• Responsible for resolving network problems through research on network installation and customization, network administration and network management support.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge for systems and solution design within the LAN/WAN network system and infrastructure realm to improve efficiency and resiliency.
• Applies technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers based on defined requirements.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of the network infrastructure (i.e., Cabling-Racking/LAN/WAN//VPN/Network Security and Wireless).
• Provides design input for all LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
