    Tablerock is currently seeking a Survey Data Technician to join our expanding Survey Division in Houston, TX. The primary responsibility will be to draft ALTA surveys and work with certified data.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Survey Data Technician / CAD experience and requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a thriving company that is actively expanding.

    This position will work primarily onsite in our office in The Woodlands, TX with the option to work from home remotely one day a week.

    Position Summary / Job Duties:

    Individual must be able to perform the following duties.

    • Use of CAD software and ability to post process survey data. AutoCAD & Trimble TBC preferred
    • Produce finished survey deliverables including but not limited to base mapping, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary & utility surveys.
    • Provide calculation and plotting of deeds, plans and survey documentation.
    • Produce survey exhibits, plans, plats and other drafting.
    • Develop construction stakeout upload files and hard sheets for survey crews.
    • Process and produce post-construction and AsBuilt data and drawings.
    • Provide and follow quality processes and procedures.
    • Effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders and team members.

    Qualifications / Required Training, Experience, Education and/or Skills:

    • Preferred Minimum of 5 years of Survey Data Technician / CAD experience.
    • Requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
    • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Certified Survey Technician III or IV or LSIT preferred.
    • Candidates with bachelor's degree from ABET accredited survey curriculum preferred.
    • Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical, and computer skills.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Candidates may from time to time be required to work from an office or home setting and in outdoor, construction, industrial or other project settings.
