    Fully Remote - EST Time Zone Preferred

    The Opportunity
    Within Aeroflow, the Payor Relations team is comprised of two teams.
    Our team focuses on supporting health plan initiatives through program development, education and collaboration.
    Our clients include network management teams, care managers and navigators as well as customer service representatives within health plans.

    Our dynamic and fast-paced team coordinates quickly with multiple parties within the organization bringing together key stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.

    Your Primary Responsibilities
    We are currently seeking a Manager for the Payor Relations team. The Payor Relations Manager is typically responsible for

    Sales Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities, analyze sales performance, and create action plans to drive growth.

    Sales Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure individual and collective success. Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for team members.

    Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Understand customer needs, address concerns, and provide effective solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

    Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    Monitor and analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends and opportunities. Provide regular and accurate sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

    Sales Training and Development:
    Conduct regular sales training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development to improve overall sales effectiveness.

    Sales Process Optimization:
    Continuously evaluate and refine the sales process to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices and sales methodologies to streamline operations.

    Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
    Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use market insights to identify competitive advantages and position the company's products/services effectively.

    Sales Presentations and Pitches:
    Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, pitches, and sales collateral. Effectively communicate the value proposition and unique selling points of the company's offerings.

    Sales Negotiations and Contract Management:
    Lead negotiations with clients and close sales deals. Ensure contract compliance and manage the negotiation process to secure favorable agreements for the company.

    Sales Performance Evaluation:
    Implement performance metrics and evaluation systems to assess individual and team sales performance. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve sales targets.

    Sales Pipeline Management:
    Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of prospects and opportunities. Work closely with the sales team to prioritize leads and opportunities for optimal conversion rates.

    Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:
    Collaborate with finance and senior management to forecast sales revenue and contribute to the budgeting process. Ensure sales goals align with overall business objectives.

    Customer Feedback and Market Intelligence:
    Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and potential product enhancements. Stay updated on market trends and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and foster a customer-centric approach.


    Compliance and Ethical Standards:
    Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Uphold the company's reputation and integrity in all interactions with customers and partners.

    Directs the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed, coordinating with the appropriate management-level supervisors.

    Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnel.
    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

    Experience:

    A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in sales, with a demonstrable record of achieving or surpassing sales targets in a competitive environment.


    Industry Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of the Durable Medical Equipment Industry and its related products/services is preferred, but exceptional candidates from diverse backgrounds will also be considered.


    Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, present compelling sales pitches, and negotiate effectively.


    Relationship Building:
    Natural ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, with a focus on maintaining long-term relationships.

    Adaptability:
    Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in response to changing market conditions and customer demands.

    Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client challenges and offer tailored solutions.

    Collaborative spirit, willing to support team members and contribute to a cohesive and successful sales team.

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
