The European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at these sites. This ensures the basic supply of the company's divisions, enabling them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are the "Digital Innovation Team", an enthusiastic interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, data scientists, and computer scientists. Based in Ludwigshafen, we drive the digital transformation of three European sites. Our focus is on innovative and challenging projects with diverse requirements. We closely collaborate with research institutions and universities and use a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies in software development, data science, machine learning, operations research, and cloud computing.

You will develop web applications for Industry 4.0 solutions, such as software for optimizing a Verbund site or AI-based assistance systems for production and logistics.

Together with project teams, you will accompany the entire development process from the initial idea to commissioning.
