- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of industry experience developing commercial systems in a Linux/BSD environment
- Web proxies (forward and reverse proxy)
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP/IPv6 networking and load balancing technology
- Ability to develop maintainable, well-designed software under tight deadlines
- Experience implementing and maintaining unit, integration and system tests
- Passion for solving hard problems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science fundamentalsPlus to have Skills
- Identity management
- Content distribution network and web caching
- Web application firewall
- Fundamentals of network security
- Working knowledge of security technology such as URL categorization, content inspection
- Working knowledge of system performance analysis and tuning
- Working knowledge of data streaming systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Industry commercial development experience using C, C++, Go, and Java
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFront, CloudWatch, VPC, CloudFormation)
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
- Experience in medium to large scale cloud-based environments
- Some experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, & PHP
- Interest in privacy and the protection of personal information
- Experience developing with security APIs and technologies
- Ability to support services with an on call rotation
