- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Prior experience in successfully dealing with the public
- Two years of experience as a security officer or prior service in the U.S. Armed Forces preferred
- Maintains competency in the technical skills relative to the implementation of safety and security policies
- Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must complete BLS- Basic Life Saving, CPI- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Basic Officer certifications within 1 year of employment
