    Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a high‑acuity opportunity for a Travel Surgical Trauma ICU Registered Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $2,160, based on three 12‑hour night shifts. This role is ideal for an ICU RN with experience managing trauma, surgical, and post‑operative critical‑care patients in fast‑paced, high‑acuity settings.

    Key Responsibilities of the STICU RN

    Provide advanced critical‑care nursing to trauma and surgical ICU patients
    Manage ventilators, sedation, vasoactive drips, and invasive monitoring
    Perform rapid assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
    Work closely with trauma surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary ICU teams
    Maintain meticulous charting per STICU protocols
    Support families with updates, education, and communication
    Uphold strict ICU safety standards and infection‑control practices

    Requirements of the STICU RN

    Active North Carolina RN license or compact eligibility
    Current BLS and ACLS; TNCC highly preferred
    Minimum 2 years' recent ICU experience, preferably with surgical/trauma focus
