We are a certified international construction consultant that specializes in assisting contractors, owners, and engineering firms.

Our experienced field staff includes construction and coatings inspectors, sampling technicians, industrial hygienists, training providers and management personnel trained to meet the varied requirements and budgets of our clients.

We are seeking Quality Control and Coatings Inspectors for various jobs in the tri-state area.


Job Responsibilities:

• Observe details of work performed by others, document results, and obtain photographic documentation of work product.
• Oversee all aspects of commercial painting operations
• Maintain daily reports recording ambient conditions, paint batch numbers, daily activities, and procedures.
• Perform observations in accordance with the techniques and procedures outlined by the company, industry and certification held.
• Meet with and observe and record contractors' activities at various project sites as required.
• Prepare written inspection reports in accordance with SSPC standards
• Determine and ensure compliance with technical documents and industry specific standards and codes and report back on the same.
• Review and download field data into laptop computer and transfer to company server in accordance with standards outlined.
• Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on a daily basis.
• Perform other like duties as assigned in office or field.

Education and Qualifications:

• NACE Certification Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Certified
• OSHA Construction Safety Training Preferred
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to various projects sites in own vehicle
• Proficient knowledge of coatings, techniques and procedures.
• Ability to interpret and receive instructions on specific assignment, objectives, and complex features on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8+hour period.
• Ability to climb elevated ladders +/200' elevation with 35pound load.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc.).
• Must be able to effectively use technology in the office and field.
• Must have good computer skills and be able to learn related software.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Note: Occasion nights and weekends may be required.

Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour
