Description

Temporary Freelance Tech Designer needed for 2-3 weeks. Approximately 10-24 hours a week.

Need to be able to do fittings and provide comments to factory and also be able to help with development specs.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.
Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
Executes fittings on live models and communicate all changes to factories
Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.

Experience

5 years experience in technical design.
Ability to measure, own fits, and make fit recommendations

We are looking for a talented Freelance Tech Designer who has experience with active, athleisure and cut & sew knits.

Please note that this is a freelance position, so compensation will be hourly.
