Off the Leash Charters LLC is a small business in Cape Coral, FL. Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere for floating private events for up to 30 guests.


Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the operation of the vessel
• Ensure the safety of passengers and crew members
• Navigate and operate the vessel in accordance with maritime regulations
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew
• Maintain and inspect all safety equipment on board
• Communicate with passengers, providing information and addressing any concerns
• Handle emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or equipment malfunctions

Qualifications:

• USCG Master Captains License
• CPR Certified
• FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit
• Captain will need to create a fun and safe atmosphere
• Captain should be personable and knowledgeable about local waters, wildlife and history

Experience:

• Previous experience as a passenger vessel captain. Must be able to operate, dock, and navigate a 40' catamaran style tour boat.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address any mechanical issues that may arise during operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
