SALARY RANGE:
$60,000 to $60,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Council Member, Council Member Aides are responsible for overseeing administrative activities of both district offices and City Hall offices.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage staff schedules, communication, and activities within the office.
- Oversee inventory management of office supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors and place necessary orders for the office.
- Assist and report directly to the Chief of Staff to organize.
- Maintain company policies and procedures among staff members.
- Maintain the flow and structure of the office environment.
- Oversee calendar, communications and correspondence in conjunction with the Chief of Staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in staffing management and coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledgeable about office operations and best practices
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
New York City residency required within 90 days of appointment.
