Mechanical Lab Technician
12 Month Contract to Hire

Location: 100% onsite. CA - Agoura Hills


Schedule:
40 hrs per week: 9am-6pm

Skills and duties include:

• Help engineers design, develop, and test electromechanical machinery and equipment.
• Oversee all equipment maintenance, repair and calibration, lab safety and access.
• Monitor, record, analyze, and interpret data for engineering analysis from numerous data acquisition systems.
• Skilled at prototype assembly and fabrication including use of hand tools, drill press, vertical mill, and industrial equipment.
• Assemble electrical/electronic systems and harnesses utilizing soldering irons, crimpers and hand tools.
• Familiarity with bills of material and inventory control practices.

MUST HAVE:
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education

• Qualified applicants must have a minimum AA degree and 4 years' experience as a Lab Technician
• Mechanical & electrical assembly skills.
• Prototype assembly, tool, and shop maintenance & fabrication skills.
• Able to perform and setup mechanical tests for reliability.
• High attention to detail, excellent practical skills, and good verbal & written communication skills.
