With longstanding history and deep community roots, Martha O'Bryan Center (MOBC) operates programs supporting education goals for learners of all ages, empowers youth and adults in their careers, and provides stability and support services for families.
Hours:
8 am - 4:30 pm AmeriCorps members at MOBC get an additional $500/month for a housing allowance Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop partnerships with local farms, grocery stores, and community-based nonprofits to increase the capacity of the Food Security program Provide referrals to food pantry guests for additional support services and community resources Assist the Food Security Coordinator with operating the food pantry, which includes stocking, building relationships with Food Bank patrons, and volunteer engagement Conduct site visits to other emergency food banks in Nashville to understand processes and increase efficiency at MOBC's food pantry Serve the public in a professional and courteous manner Participate in AmeriCorps professional development and community-building workshops You can read more about AmeriCorps at MOBC here: Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
Member Duties :
