Engineering Field Manager

Job Description:


Objective:

Effectively maintaining Acme House Company's house standards in order to ensure the owner and the guest are ultra satisfied with our efforts that surround maintaining each property.

These areas include, but are not limited to, quality repair and maintenance of each home. Well maintained, clean and appointed luxury homes is the objective.


Reports to:
Director of Engineering


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-
Participating and supervising in the follow areas:

  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Basic carpentry
  • Pools including water chemistry and mechanical (CPO a plus)
  • Flooring
  • Plumbing installation & repairs
  • Basic diagnostic appliance knowledge
  • Home devices (TV, mesh networks, Internet modem, Apple TV, Amazon FireStick, etc.)

Managing the Engineering Department by:

  • Training your staff
  • Mentoring your staff
  • Maintaining clear communication regarding all company processes and keeping this information current
  • Daily stand up staff meetings to plan the day
  • Adhering to all HR processes
  • Any other skill or task that is asked of you

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Managerial experience in Hospitality maintenance, +5 years preferred
  • Providing quality repair and maintenance of structures, +5 years
  • General installations and repairs, +5 years
  • Clean driving record
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to plan your work, to maximize efficiency
  • Escalate those issues that you can't resolve
  • Team player who can communicate and work with their team

Physical Demands:


  • The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with your hands and arms.
  • Able to lift, push or pull 50 lbs
  • Climb ladders and work both indoors and outside
  • Pass an uponhire drug screening and be able to maintain our Drug Free workplace standards.
