We are looking for a
Medical Coding Specialist (m/f/d) for the Hospital Department in full-time or part-time for our client, a medium-sized health insurance company based in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The job:
- Reviewing the coding of hospital services
- Identifying and addressing issues with hospital billing
- Requesting and evaluating medical expert opinions
- Communicating with medical experts and negotiating with hospitals regarding billing questions
- Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of measures for cost control, process optimization, and internal quality assurance in the context of billing audits
Working hours:
- Fulltime or parttime (38 hours/week for fulltime)
- Monday
- Friday
- Start date: immediately
- Contract type: permanent direct placement
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in a medical/nursing assistant profession with experience in coding and billing audits, and a strong understanding of diagnoses and procedures
- Completed further education as a clinical coding specialist or a comparable additional qualification, experience in billing/somatic/psychiat
