Description

We are seeking a Marketing Co-Op Assistant Professional who will work closely with the Marketing & Technology Director to assist in daily tasks of administrative duties in accordance with brand guidelines, company image guidelines, and deadlines to meet the needs of the department and company.

Will also perform various Co-Op submission and tracking/deadlines within the Marketing Department working with our Marketing and Accounting team, to include applicable agencies and Marketing providers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, and taking down minutes as needed.
  • Assist in gathering and promotional material for manufacturer submission.
  • Assist in gathering accounting invoices relating to the Marketing Department.
  • Assist in collaborating with each dealership regarding coop/advertising budgets.
  • Assist in the actual utilization of various tools in key proposals and presentations
  • Assist in maximizing advertising funds
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with Co-Op submissions and knowledge (preferably in the auto industry)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills; selfmotivated
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local laws, which govern retail
  • Ability to gather manufacturer requirements for Co-Op submissions and follow proper protocols
