Support Coordinator/Outreach Specialist - Veteran - TEEMA Group, Los Angeles, CA, USA


TEEMA Group is looking for an experienced Support Coordinator/Outreach Specialist - Veteran to join our team in West Los Angeles, CA.

This person takes the lead in arranging and managing the daily operational aspects of support programs for veterans from their initial entry into residential programs.

Additionally, the Veteran Support Coordinator will contribute significantly to the establishment of a therapeutic environment by overseeing the setup and organization of service areas, therapeutic stations, and residential support services within the community.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support and outreach services to veterans and their families.
  • Assist veterans in accessing services and resources.
  • Provide information and referrals to veterans and their families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with veteran service organizations.
  • Participate in outreach events and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • An equivalent of four years of applicable work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree prerequisites
  • Experience working with homeless and/or veteran population preferred
