    Job Title: Production Maintenance Supervisor

    Location: Scarborough, Maine

    This role involves overseeing the daily activities of maintenance department technicians to ensure compliance with company standards. Working closely with production management, the position involves prioritizing tasks to meet production and maintenance objectives. Responsibilities also include providing training for repairs, equipment maintenance, system operations, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.

    Schedule: Rotating Day Shift Schedule

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Daily supervision of the maintenance department
    • Coordinates support/resources for production and non-production activities
    • Appraises performance of direct reports and conducts annual reviews
    • Supports new equipment purchases, design modifications, and validation efforts
    • Performs routine inspections for necessary repairs and preventive actions
    • Assists in change-overs as required
    • Interprets blueprints and equipment manuals
    • Prepares documentation for preventive maintenance and machine operations
    • Operates necessary equipment and assists external repair persons
    • Maintains records, inventory, and responds to alarm calls
    • Works as a key member to achieve production goals

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Directly supervises employees in Production Maintenance
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities as per organizational policies
    • Interviewing, hiring, training, planning, and directing work activities
    • Performance appraisals, conflict resolution, and problem-solving

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

    Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 5+ years' experience as an electromechanical technician in the medical field
    • 5+ years of machining experience
    • Hands-on electro-mechanical repair experience

    Preferred

    • Technical Certificate in relevant field
    • 1+ years of supervisory experience and 5+ years in high volume production
    • Experience in quality system regulations
