    *SENIOR ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN/ ASSEMBLY SHOP SUPERVISOR**Position Type:
    • Direct Hire
    *Position Hours: *7:00am- 3:30pm, Monday- Friday
    *Position Salary: *$25.00-$30.00/hour + Excellent Benefits

    *Position Location: *Willoughby, OH

    *Position Summary*This position will begin as a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Technician who will eventually oversee the day-to-day operations of the assembly shop and personnel; supervise assembly shop to staff and organize a high-volume assembly shop. Train employees and build product as necessary. Perform quality control on all finished products. Perform other duties as needed and as assigned.

    *Duties & Responsibilities
    • Responsible for hiring, managing performance standards of personnel, training new and current personnel in procedures and policies, coaching/counseling, and terminating shop personnel.
    • Schedule and assign technicians to meet production deadlines.
    • Motivate and engage team to meet production standards and customer demands.
    • Oversee and monitor work quality of shop personnel.
    • Perform necessary quality control procedures on all finished products.
    • Manage inventory levels of essential components.
    • Communicating to the Operations Manager when ordering is required and keeping stock sufficient.
    • Review incoming orders, checking for build material accuracy and component availability to meet deadlines.
    • Collaborate with departments to maximize production and solve related problems.
    • Build components, sub-assemblies, and full cabinets from start to finish, as needed.
    • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and addressing hazards on the floor and with personnel.
    • Organize and streamline processes to minimize waste.
    *Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Basic understanding of computerized hardware.
    • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, while meeting all timeframes.
    • Basic knowledge of safety standards.
    • Problem solving.
    • Supervisory skills.

    Experience:

    • 5 years of hands-on electronics hardware and wiring.
    • Ability to read a basic wiring diagram.
    • Management experience.
    *Job Requirements:
    • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
    • Safe handling of sensitive electronics.
    • Counting of inventory and basic computer knowledge. (Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
    • Strong mechanical knowledge. (Drilling, tapping, cutting metal, fabricate aluminum panels as needed)
    *The ideal candidate for this position will:
    • Maintain workspace in a clean and organized fashion.
    • Work in a team atmosphere as we solve customers' issues.
    • Maintain stock of sub-assemblies and small cabinet panels.
    • Communicate with Operations Manager regarding timeframes and projects.
    • Work with Engineering department for testing and problem solving on completed cabinets.
    • Find ways to maximize production and think around issues.
    • Maintain the positive attitude of both enthusiasm and productivity in a high-volume production role.

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    • Inventory management: 1 year (Preferred)
    Quality Control: 1 year (Preferred)
