PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This role involves promoting Simon as a Marketing Medium to brands, advertising agencies, and local businesses.

The individual in this position will act as the main sales representative for a group of properties within a specific market.

The individual will focus on key companies and sectors within the market to sell Simon media, sponsorships, events, and partnership marketing programs in order to meet both personal and mall revenue objectives.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, create, and capitalize on revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of mall assets, media assets, and mall programming to meet financial sales targets
  • Achieve personal sales targets and monthly revenue budgets for the property
  • Develop and execute retailer intensification strategies. Present platform program opportunities to retailers to enhance offerings
  • Establish and maintain positive community and public relations to strengthen the center's standing in the community. Manage media relations and responses
  • Develop tailored client solutions for advertising goals, emphasize Simon Malls' advantages, and secure advertising, sponsorship, or promotional deals regularly
  • Reach out to, pitch, and build relationships with companies in key categories within the market
  • Ensure smooth implementation of all mall programs, ranging from national to local initiatives
  • Provide monthly forecasts for the properties
  • Manage leases and handle client receivables
  • Maintain regular communication with local property, corporate, and regional leadership teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in media sales, advertising, sponsorships, promotions, and events
  • Extensive knowledge and connections within the advertising, agency, and marketing sectors
  • Strong computer skills and effective verbal, visual, and written communication abilities
  • Self-motivated, dynamic individual capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience and contacts in the OOH industry are beneficial
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary
