    As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you'll collaborate with product management and engineering teams, bridging the gap between business and technology throughout the product lifecycle to support development that ensures a compelling digital experience for our retail Customers, or help arm H-E-B Partners company-wide with world-class business applications to thrive in their jobs.

    You'll also mentor others. You're someone who works seamlessly with engineers, designers, product managers and stakeholders alike. You can identify cross-team technical dependencies and facilitate conversations to align on scope, size, and timelines.

    You can converse with non-technical stakeholders to gain alignment, inform them of project progress, and ensure their part of the project is also delivered.

    We are looking for:
    - a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

    • 5+ years of experience
    - advanced Excel, SQL and analytical skills

    What is the work?

    Analytics / Reporting & Documentation / Testing:

    • Identifies / documents functional and non-functional requirements
    • Ensures Product Management and business stakeholders understanding impacts of requests on the project, associated applications, and other business units
    • Influences / manages scope change
    • Refines requirements (user stories) so they are readily consumable by software Engineers
    • Owns endtoend quality strategy for group of closely aligned product(s)
    • Develops test cases designed to validate functional and nonfunctional system requirements
    • Executes / facilitates execution of test scripts based on test cases
    • Works in testing tools or frameworks to create automated testing suites for one or more systems
    • Uses data to drive decisions
    • Applies a highlevel understanding of each product's system architecture and the technologies used to move / modify data in them (e.g., queues / messaging services, webservices, APIs, databases)
    • Assists Engineers in debugging / troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in daytoday work and production support scenarios
    • Researches external systems as needed to reverse engineer or understand their function through data extraction and validation
    • Contributes to refinement of SDLCrelated tools, standards, and training
    • Influences business process improvements / product roadmap
    • Serves as domain subject matter expert

    What is your background?

    • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
    • 5+ years of experience
    • Experience successfully working in a fastpaced, changeoriented environment
    • Experience supporting retail, supply chain, ecommerce, or digital marketing operations a plus

    • Working knowledge of SQL, and how to build queries independently
    • Knowledge of databases and data stores, and how to access data
