Apprenticeship Metalworker (m/f/d) 2024

As a metalworker specializing in construction technology, you will receive technical drawings from the design department and interpret them, taking measurements and angles. You will then weld, saw, drill, screw, and assemble the individual components. You will manufacture metal and steel structures, both standard and custom-made according to customer specifications. You will also be the first point of contact for maintenance and repair of equipment.

Duration of apprenticeship:

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years in the dual system. In the first year, block lessons will take place at the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn-Schule in Balingen, and from the second year onwards at the Gewerbliche Schule in Tübingen.

Your profile:

  • At least a qualified secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma
  • Good grades and knowledge in mathematics and physics
  • Interest in manual work
  • Manual and organizational skills
