- Responsible for daily opening and closing procedures to include cash handling in an accurate and responsible fashion.
- Support daily operations/maintenance of the salon experiences.
- Creates and maintains an inventory of Salon Experience and tour assets.
- Collaborate with Wine Education team, as well as Tasting Room leadership, on new programming for Salon and other Experiences.
- Work primarily in the Blend Room and Tasting Salons conducting tastings with our guests.
- Partner with the tasting room leads to ensure coverage for salons and back-up retail as needed.
- Conduct winery tours, tastings and events for guests (including VIP guests) of the winery as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
- MAST Class 12 Permit and Food Handlers card required. Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET, CWE certification a plus.
- 3+ years of customer service experience required (retail/hospitality preferred) with at least 2 years training/education experience in the alcohol beverage industry.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proficient computer skills required with knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Must be flexible and available to work varied hours.
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk for extended periods of time.
