- Manage the month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting, meeting all deadlines in accordance with US GAAP
- Implement effective financial reporting controls, including balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing accounting entries to prevent errors and risks
- Oversee intercompany accounting and settlement processes among multiple reporting entities and joint venture entities
- Introduce process enhancements and efficiencies in current accounting processes through cross-functional collaboration on problem-solving and projects
- Assist external auditors with the annual financial statement audit and accounting records
- Guide, mentor, and coach accounting staff to ensure team performance meets service level targets and development objectives
- Provide accounting reporting support for special and ad-hoc projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- CPA preferred; Experience in Public Accounting a plus
- 6-10 years of accounting experience
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, experience with JDE E1 preferable
