- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution. Hire subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address safety concerns, obtain permits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Facilitate communication and ensure alignment among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and government agencies.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure construction meets quality standards. Conduct inspections and address deficiencies promptly.
- Resolve disputes and conflicts that arise during construction. Negotiate changes to project scope and mediate issues between subcontractors.
- Proven track record in managing public sector construction projects, adhering to regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in relevant construction software like procore
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and sustainable practices.
