    Description

    New York based Multi Manager Hedge Fund is seeking a talented Trading Assistant for its Macro Trading Pod.

    The fund is expected to be one of the most significant launches recently, with a substantial amount of capital ready to be deployed right from the start.

    While focusing primarily on expanding its US presence, the fund also operates across various key hedge fund hubs, including a newly established entity in the UAE.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Interacting with and presenting to the front office as the main stakeholder group.
    • The investment pod is among the most profitable teams within the fund.
    • Handling trade booking, risk management, P&L, and pricing.
    • Monitoring trader positions, providing commentary, and daily reporting on market swings and exposure to the PMs.
    • Supervising external providers as part of the outsourced operations model.
    • Utilizing automation through SQL/Python and contributing to the development of infrastructure to onboard more PMs and investment teams.

    Having a strong foundation in Macro products and prior experience in hedge funds is essential. Proficiency in P&L, pricing, and risk management is highly desirable.

    A keen understanding of the markets and a track record of monitoring them are also requirements.
