Bell Ace Hardware is a family-owned local hardware store serving Western Lehigh County and Eastern Berks County since 1989. We are an essential business, always open and forever helpful
BELL ACE HARDWARE is looking to hire additional full time Red Vested Heroes to join our TEAM.

The major responsibilities for this position include:
Assist customers with the loading of their vehicles
Monitor and maintain the entrance of the store, including cart return
Assemble grills, wheelbarrows, outdoor furniture, or other products as requested by management
Property maintenance including sweeping warehouse, parking lot upkeep, and straightening outdoor bulk products
Complete transactions via remote POS for outdoor goods
Operation of equipment on the property (drivers license is required for this task)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, experience, skill, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Customer service skills
Possessing a product knowledge of outdoor bulk goods is a plus, but a willingness to learn is required
Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn to operate a tablet
Must be punctual and have the ability and willingness to work on weekends
Must be a solid team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must maintain a neat professional appearance and maintain appropriate grooming habits

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Ability to retrieve, handle, and move merchandise which will require bending, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis (a team lift is required for products weighing more than 50 lbs)
Ability to provide continual customer service which will require talking, standing, and walking for up to 4 hours or more at a time
Ability to read product labels, dispense product knowledge, and communicate with our customer
Ability to utilize a tablet point of sale device and assemble some products which will require sufficient manual dexterity
