BLUE SEA IS URGENTLY SEEKING BCBAs/LBAs ON THE EAST END OF LONG ISLAND

Blue Sea Educational Consulting is a unique company comprised of a Professional Collaborative, bringing together diverse professions such as: education, psychology, social work, behavior intervention, speech, occupational and physical therapies, and the law.

Our unique approach to education has enabled us to provide supportive services to a variety of populations.

We are seeking a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)/Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a school-based consultant supporting high-school programming.

This is a leave replacement Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This position allows for the summer off or the option to explore other opportunities in the Suffolk and Nassau regions as we have Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to schoolbased staff in the area of behavior, curriculum and classroom management.
Train staff on positive behavior support plans and instructional programs and monitor fidelity.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop positive behavior support plans.
Work in partnership with other BCBA/LBAs as part of a Collaborative Model.

Skills:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive skills in behavioral assessment and positive behavior support plan development.
Extensive knowledge of data analysis.
Vast stakeholder skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team atmosphere.
Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.
